Sensitivity Scan (“the App”) is designed to help you identify and remove sensitive photos and videos from your device while keeping your data private. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App uses, how it is processed, and the choices you have.


1) Summary


  • On-device only: Scanning and analysis happen entirely on your iPhone/iPad.
  • No uploads: Your photos and videos are never uploaded to our servers (we don’t operate any).
  • No account: You don’t need to sign up or log in.
  • No tracking: We do not track you across apps or websites.
  • Local storage only: The App stores only limited, non-reversible identifiers and your in-app preferences on your device.

2) Information the App Accesses


To function, the App may request access to:

  • Photos library access (via Apple’s Photos framework), so it can scan your photo library and show results for review.


Important: The App does not copy your full photo library to any external location. Media stays in your Photos library unless you choose to delete it.


3) What the App Collects and Stores


The App is built to minimize data storage. Depending on your usage, it may store the following locally on your device:

  • Scan results metadata: a list of items the App has flagged for review, represented using secure, non-reversible identifiers (e.g., hashed references or similar tokens).
  • These identifiers are used to avoid repeatedly processing the same items and to power the review UI.
  • They are not designed to reconstruct your original photos or videos.
  • App settings: such as lock preferences, review filters, and whether you have enabled specific scanning options.
  • Purchase state (if you unlock video scanning): Apple may provide the App with purchase entitlement information so the App can enable the feature. We do not receive your payment details.


The App does not collect:

  • Your name, email address, phone number, or address
  • Your full photo/video contents
  • Advertising identifiers
  • Precise location data
  • Contact lists, calendars, or other unrelated device data



4) How Scanning Works (On-Device Processing)


The App analyzes media on your device to detect potentially nude, explicit, or sensitive content. This analysis is performed locally and results are presented for your review.

We do not use your photos or videos to train our models or services, and we do not upload them.


5) Deleting Photos and Videos


If you choose to delete items, the App uses Apple’s system APIs to remove selected photos or videos from your Photos library. Deleted items may move to the “Recently Deleted” album in Photos (managed by Apple/your device), where they may remain until permanently removed according to your device settings.


6) Face ID / Touch ID / Passcode Protection


The App can lock access to results using Face IDTouch ID, or a passcode. Authentication is handled by Apple’s system frameworks. The App does not receive or store your biometric data.


7) Data Sharing


We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data.

Because the App does not operate external servers for scanning, there is no routine transfer of your photos/videos or scan results to us or third parties.


8) Third-Party Services


  • Apple In-App Purchases: If you purchase the one-time unlock for video scanning, the transaction is processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment card information. Apple may share basic purchase information (e.g., confirmation/entitlements) with the App to enable features.


Other than Apple services required for the App to function (Photos framework, local authentication, StoreKit), the App does not integrate third-party analytics or advertising SDKs (as described).


9) Data Retention


All App data is stored locally and remains on your device until you:

  • delete it within the App,
  • uninstall the App, and/or
  • remove Photos access or delete media in Photos.



10) Your Choices and Controls


You can control your privacy at any time:

  • Photos permission: Change or revoke access in Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos.
  • Delete media: Delete selected items through the App (uses Apple APIs).
  • Remove local App data: Uninstalling the App removes App-stored data from your device (Apple may retain certain purchase records in your Apple ID account).



11) Children’s Privacy


Sensitivity Scan is not intended for children under 18 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.


12) International Users


Processing occurs on your device. Because we do not run scanning servers, your media is not routinely transferred to us across borders.


13) Changes to This Policy


We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
